Founded in 2018 and headquartered in Dubai, Mashriq Energy develops, builds and operates utility-scale energy infrastructure across the Middle East and Africa — evolving from a trusted EPC contractor into an independent power producer.

From contractor to power producer.
Mashriq Energy was founded in 2018 in Dubai, United Arab Emirates, to close the gap between the demand for clean, reliable electricity across MENA and Africa and the infrastructure available to deliver it.
We began as an engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) contractor, delivering solar and grid projects for utilities and private offtakers. Over time we moved further up the value chain — transitioning from EPC to IPP — developing and financing our first owned assets.
Today, from our Jebel Ali Freezone headquarters and regional offices, our engineering-led team takes projects from first feasibility study through financial close and into decades of reliable operation.
